Kealia Resort 208

Our experience was great. The room was very nice and comfortable. The beach was right out front and amazing.

If you book with VRBO you will get an email from with check in and check out info. I didn't realize this and had a little problem with check in.

Had trouble getting the TV's to work. Use the spectrum remote, press the upper right button cbl and make use the cable box is on. If tv does not turn on use the tv remote. In the bedroom had to turn on the TV using the button on the lower right of the TV itself.

The AC unit in the bedroom is very loud and we found the best way to get a good nights rest is to turn the AC in the bedroom to high and close the door. Move the chair away from the AC unit in the living room. Turn on unit and when you go to bed turn the AC unit in the bedroom to fan only. Leave bedroom door open and the unit in the living room will keep everything nice and cool.

We got to wake up and walk on the beach every morning. We chose this location and rental over the expensive resort experiences because of two things. The proximity to the beach and the ability to make our own food. Having a kitchen was essential for us and we were very happy with how things went. We were really happy with our stay in Kihei and would return again. Perks of the rental were all the towels, washer and dryer, and the beach equipment for the kids.

Amazing time!!

We were lucky enough to book unit 208. It was fantastic! Great building right on the beach, nice and quiet. The unit was clean and very nice! Even had snorkeling gear, beach chairs and boogie boards. Will definitely stay in this unit next time we come!!!

The location was beautiful. The beach was very peaceful. There was a private entrance that led straight to the sand. It was never crowded. The unit was smaller than expected, but it met all
Of our needs. All the of the furniture and appliances were good quality. They had lots of beach supplies available for us to use: snorkels, towels, coolers. The only negative thing I have to say is that the unit had roaches—specifically in the kitchen, but in other areas as well. We told them about the roaches and they came to spray, obviously that isn’t going to truly resolve the problem. If we left food out on the counter for just a few minutes bugs would come out and be in it. We ended up keeping all of our groceries inside the fridge. The place overall was nice, but we were disappointed and a little grossed out by the roaches—especially having spent so much money to stay there.

It’s everything you can hope for from a vacation rental. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close proximity to everything you need for a great vacation. And the beach the condo sits on is so perfect you almost never need to leave. The office personnel are fantastic as well.

We loved the location on Sugar Beach. Courtyard was nice, pool was great. Condo was clean with lots of things needed. We will stay here again!

Wonderful location on a quiet beach. Easy parking on site. Centrally located to drive to anywhere on the island. Condo was very clean and comfy. Nice appliances, towels and bedding. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My girlfriend and I chose this spot for it's somewhat secluded location, and great condo + patio. Sugar beach out the back door is beautiful and isolated enough to not worry about crowds of beach goers. The complex offers chairs and a pool. The condo has a fully loaded kitchen with appliances big and small for extended stays, and is clean and cozy. Highly recommend.

Wedding destination

It was very nice and pleasant. It was equipped with everything. Was quiet and has a walk away to to the beach. I give it a 9 out of 10. My sister's wedding was there and it was beautiful scenery. Wedding pictures were awesome.

We had a great experience with the vacation rental. The unit was comfortable for 2 people. Views from the lanai were nice of the ocean and the grassy shaded area outside the unit was pleasant with no complex next to it. There were plenty of beach towels and the AC worked great. One day someone was parked in our parking spot and management was helpful in getting this resolved. The only “downside” comments or things we noticed were: the beach chairs are quite worn and can rip at any time, there were not any smaller storage containers for food items, and with windows and doors open for breezes, the road noise is rather loud as the unit is on the side and it is a main road and there is activity on it at all hours of the day and night. Some road noise could be heard with doors and windows shut. The AC running sound at night did drown out most noise.

Perfect place, It is located right in the middle of the island so everything is accessible! They offer everything you need like clothes soap, dishwasher soap, towels and chairs for the beach.. We loved to stay there, nothing to complain about, we will certainly come back!

3rd time we've stayed here...lovely location, safe and convenient. Just walked 30 seconds out our door to the pool and beach. Easy parking and access, Sugar Beach is so walkable and relaxing, and perfect sunset views! Unit was clean and well stocked. Only thing I would love to see is a few more bowls and coffee cups in our unit since we loved our quick breakfasts so we could get more beach time in. :)

We had a wonderful girls' trip and this rental was perfect. The beach out front is quiet and beautiful. It is small, but it worked for us. A couple of boogie boards would have been a bonus. Very nice place.

Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a few of the ocean from the lanai. The room was clean and offered what we needed while staying, a kitchen, shower and AC! We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out exploring the island or swimming in the ocean or the on site pool.

The rental was clean and well stocked! We loved the beach as it was sandy, not crowded and so close!! Also enjoyed the pool. The sleeping arrangements worked perfectly with the "nook" bed.
