Kihei Beach Resort 201

Very nicely appointed, clean, plenty of room for our group of three, four would be fine, five would work as well. Great spot, just slightly (2 miles?) north of the more congested "downtown Kehei" so not crowded at all and quiet, but very accessible to everything. Beautiful views, grounds and facilities very well maintained, and literally steps from the ocean with what could be termed "private beach area". Would-have recommended to others.

We had an amazing stay and can't complain about the condo, it was fully stocked with everything we needed, even found toys for the kids, water toys, everything you could need in the kitchen.

Two things that I didn't enjoy were the trade winds in the afternoon, this complex gets hit hard and 8 days out of 10 we had to drive 10 min north or south to find another beach to spend time at, which isn't anything anyone can change.
The other part is communication, I e-mailed and called Destination Maui twice, left a VM and didn't hear back, so this part was disappointing.

Otherwise, a nice unit, thank you to the homeowners for everything they provide and the cleaners are amazing.

Great stay!

Our condo was clean, well stocked with all the pots and pans needed for cooking. It contained beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. We loved the big screen TV and the deck overlooking the ocean!

This unit is in the perfect location. The beds are super comfortable. There's ample room in the unit and a wonderful view.
The kitchen is stocked well enough. You will need refreezable cooler ice.and more Tupperware.
The drawbacks
1)the smell of sewage was a constant. Increased whenever the wind blows. It was so bad it would wake us up. Even with the bathroom door closed closed.
2)bugs, so many midge flies. They crawl right through the screens. If you have windows open or the slider the unit will become infested. The entire floor needed to be cleaned every morning to sweep up the dead flies. Smelled of sewage and we couldn't open the windows.
3) you can not use the washer and dryer. It's there but you will be instructed not to use it.

This is located on a quiet and lovely stretch of beach. The condo is just steps from the sand. This unit overlooks the pool area and the ocean beyond. The grounds are very well maintained. Across the street is an ABC market that has a good variety of convenience items, a very good bakery and coffee shop, shave ice and a farmers market. The condo had a pretty good variety of supplies, but could have used some small Tupperware type containers for leftovers. other than that it was perfect!

Cool boat beached in front of the unit ���� we had a great stay, very convenient having the shave ice, bakery, and ABC stores across the street most likely to stay here next time we visit.

Our rental was phenomenal! Everything available that we could hope for. Even shell necklaces hanging by the front door. Staff was very kind.pool was maintained vigorously. All in all a great accommodation.

This was my 2nd stay at kihei beach resort. I love the location and the beach. Although it was convenient to be near the pool I don't think I would stay directly above it again due to the noise. I also didn't like being that close to the designated smoking area. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable although the dryer didn't work. I don't know if it was the time of the year for ants (I was there in November before) but they were especially bad in the kitchen.

Kihei Beach 201 Review Nov/Dec 2018

Good overall experience. Noisy kids in pool most days, next time I'd choose a 3-digit unit # that ends 04 or greater. Nice to have the side view (end unit)  Kitchen is small, but very well stocked. These are minor observations, good overall experience. Excellent beach, sheltered from wind and waves. All 53 units are direct oceanfront!!

Enjoyed this condo, perfect for myself and 2 daughters, unit was very clean and well maintained. We were disappointed that the advertised wash/dryer was not available, sign on unit said it was broken, although units looked new. Should change listing if wash/dryer not available. The booking process was very easy online, and everyone I talked to was very helpful. Location great, the condo was very quiet and grounds well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this location, right across the street from coffee/bakery, acai bowls and farmers market, ABC store and shaved ice! You can walk right to the beach from the place and enjoy nice walks up and down the coast. Pretty central location to get to everything else on the island too. The place was clean and comfortable.

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sensationell ,davon lebt das Appartement, die Einrichtung bis auf die Küche ist älter, z.T Badarmaturen eher grenzwertig, die Fenster und Wände dünn, man hört alle über und unter einem bei den Nachbarn, Party , Kinderlärm etc., insgesamt für 4-5 Tage o.k. guter Parkplatz, Supermarkt und Bakery gleich über die Strasse.
Was wirklich eine Frechheit war ist die Waschmaschine und der Trockner: verrostet, dreckig , versifft , wahrscheinlich auch verschimmelt, gesundheitsgefährdend ! Niemand mit Verstand will hier seine Wäsche waschen oder trocknen, wir mussten mit dreckiger Wäsche nach San Fran weiterreisen.
Somit Preis-Leistungsverhältnis grenzwertig, die Insel und der Strand machen vieles wett, ich weiß nicht ob ich das Appartement wirklich Freuden empfehlen kann, wir waren ganzen Tag unterwegs und fast nur zum Schlafen da, dafür war es o.k.

Great location with easy drive to Wailea and Kahului as well as tour companies for snorkeling and whale watching. Good food also nearby and Excellent shaved ice at walking distance.

Great view for sunset. Very clean and well supplied but expected condition for furniture for ocean front property.

From there went to Westin in Kaanapali for my conference and I preferred this apartment for its flexibility, location and closeness to much tastier food (less luxurious but better). The pool at Westin was much better of course).
I would definitely stay there again if not near Hana.

WE've stayed at Kihei Beach Resort several times and absolutely love it! The location is perfect, it's close to everything we need...the beach, pool, a Starbucks and it's not far from the airport and Costco. We'll be back soon!

This condo was perfect! The location is in the middle of everywhere we went. It was very well stocked. The patio furniture is much better than what is pictured (must have been updated after the photos). The sunsets were glorious.
