There are also plenty of on-site amenities to enjoy, including a pool and lounge chairs. If you feel like exploring, Sugar Beach can be accessed from Haycraft Beach Park at the end of the street. This is part of the Kealia Nature Preserve, which is protected land that is safe from development, which means that there are no obstructions, no crowds, and just 2.5 miles of white sand beach and uninterrupted views. If you walk west for around 10 minutes, you'll find yourself at Ma'alaea Harbor, where you can book a variety of boating excursions. There is also a wide range of shops and restaurants in the area, and you can visit the Maui Aquarium, which is a world-class attraction.
